Gentle Gaze

School is finally over! Not for long but at least I'll have much more time to create new art, to improve and of course to have some fun and rest.
Personally I'm very proud of this piece. I usually don't go into that much detail when I paint but I wanted to try this and it turned out quite well. The reference photo I used is from a cube book a friend gave me for my birthday. It's a close shot of an Icelandic pony and I thought it would perfectly fit my goal. It was a lot of work and time, especially for an impatient person like me. I dedicated it several afternoons and a lot of acrylic paint /probably because I can't measure properly :/ /
